And an ANGRY day. I hope each of us sends out a prayer to the families of those we lost today. They were the worst kind of victim. Innocent! Randomly cought up in a political game.As a former Marine, this has absolutely pushed me to the limits of tolerance. It brings back too many memories.People like Jontour, Clonetour , and myself Signed up and knew that this might happen to us, But to see civilians killed this way is too much to take. I hope we just do not give just a token response to this cowardly act. I am sorry for the rambling thoughts and the angry tone, but It is late and this is gonna' be a sleepless night. I just needed to vent and hoped that friends could understand. I'm sure you feel the same way. The only thing left to say I guess is God be with us all.

Well said. CNN is going through a list of those confirmed dead right now...Everything is silent. My prayers go out as do yours, Andy.

It especially angers me when I hear about those who are celebrating this; It just makes me so...I dunno...So many emotions to deal with at once. I'm at a loss for words...

The news was horrible enough...then to hear the personal stories....the couple who jumped holding hands...all those who made cell calls to friends and relatives knowing they were going to die is almost too much.
It is hard for me to comprehend that a couple people with knives and boxcutters could do this - I wonder how we would have reacted had any of us been on those planes.

Well said, Andy. I actually tried calling my recruiter last night to see if I could up my ship date to basic!

It just absolutely PISSES ME OFF that someone could do something so rediculous and take civilian lives. If they want to make a statement...fine...do it another way. Don't take thousands of lives...innocent lives...mothers/fathers/sons/daughters. ARGHHH!!!!!

Jontour, I also recieved a phone call from someone(Can't really say what). I have not been in since '84 but if he calls back I'm goin' too and will do so gladly. Looks like something is commin' together. I had hoped I had seen the last of this kind of thing but I can't stand by and not help if it is needed. Good luck buddy! I hope all will be well in the end. All I can say now is....lets get some!!!
