Well it's that time again. I need to change my oil, I am just wondering about your suggestions on what to use. I have 62,000 and some change on the clock. Am I just asking for trouble with thinking about a synthetic? I thought maybe go with 5W-30 Mobil 1 synthetic, and a K&N Filter. Ideas, warnings?

I have never changed it myself on this car. How hard is it to do? Anyone want to give me hand? Maybe I will have the KKM at that time too.(I hope so.)

Well Thanks,

Dave

My only warning for synth is that if you have an oil laek, synth will make it worse. Other than that, I run nothing else

I use 5w30, Dura-Blend. It's half synthetic. I have never had a problem with it...That is what would recommend....

I just use regular Valvoline dino oil. Nobody's ever proved synthetic is really better in normal car engines.

By the way, I use the Valvoline Instant oil change across from Northtown. They take good care of me (my sister used to work there). Just insist on 6 quarts of oil.
