Sweet- thanks for the names. I'm also thinking about getting one of those kits online- I forget the seller right now- but there is a company that sells pre-cut films complete with a squeege and some other stuff that makes it easier to install.

Foz, I hope you have done it before 'cause it is tough to get it right. I was gonna do it myself also then thought better of it. Glad I let a pro tint 'em instead.

That's a good point- I've been tossing it back and forth- right now I figure that I should be able to do the side windows, no problem, but the rear will probably be a *****. If I mess up, I can always peel off just the rear window film and have a pro do the rear window. Or I could just not be a cheap-ass and have a pro do the whole thing and get it done right the first time!

Working at the State Patrol HQ has its advantages...I am finding out all the answers to your ?'s now.

You are right, 50%, plus or minus three %. Have the shop take into account your factory tint before they quote your for the new stuff. Headlights must be DOT certified to run any roads.

andy v is right, no more than 4 lights on at a time. I believe all neon is 100% illegal but I can check for sure if ya want.
