i just would hate a contour owner to see the sticker and then go home and not get anything. if i tried to go to a website that i saw on a car, and it wasn't available, i'd think he was a goofball for having it on.  of course, if and when it comes back, i'd put another back on.

take em off.....makes the car look even more lame in other people's eyes....dead car...dead website...great advertising

Wow, it's the enthusiasm from people like you that make Lance want to work his butt off to keep this site going :rolleyes:
The site needs to come down for a bit because we are losing hosting. We are in the process of arranging for new hosting, but it will probably take a couple of weeks to set up...you would know this if you were really reading things. We didn't find out that Matt was getting laid of again until recently, and I am sorry that we couldn't be superheroes and find immediate housing. Life doesn't always work that way. Your attitudes are all pretty unappreciative for a site that has cost you relatively nothing.
FluidSVT, way to say thanks for all the hard work, I'm sorry that things have hit a rough patch and that Matt is losing his job. What? You expect Lance and I to shell out $2500 to keep this free site running and because we can't we are quitters?

I must agree that the site going down is a bit saddening, but it's only because the serve is going away. I for one have shelled out too much money to have the complete CEG logo vinyl etched in my rear window to just up and remove it when this site goes down. I agree w/ BrApple, the people on here have become a family in some sort of way. Plus removing the stickers for this site, IMHO is like saying that you are giving up on it completely.  What we have here will never go away, regardless if this site stays down and doesn't come back up.

Hold on. Don't get me wrong. I don't mean take off contour.org off for good. I just meant while it's down. I've had a few people see it and ask me about it. I wonder who's seen it and came on over to check it out. I just wasn't sure if it should be on if the site is down. my question was in no way trying to make light of Matt's situation, Lance and your situation, or anything. And i was really reading everything. That's why my first, second, and now third post says until its back up. Maybe i'll replace it with ceg instead of contour.org.

I've got 'www.contour.org' on both of my rear windows.
I am NOT removing the stickers for two reasons.
1) I love this site to much to take them off.
2) I waited TOO LONG to get them !
