this site is the reason i actually bought a contour. i mean, i liked them before... but ran accross this site and really got into them. even with all the crap that may go on in here, its still a great place for information for newbs and its part of the fun in sharing info and pics and stuff. who cares about the "off-topic" posts. there is waaaaay more posts for "on-topic" things. im not a loser or anything but i actually looked forward to coming home from work and seeing replys to my questions. i mean, there arent many places to turn too with legitamate questions that you can get legit answers from honest guys that own the same car as you. it doesnt get any better than this and its a shame to see it go. even though ive only been here a short while. i cant help but wonder if this would still be the case if that moonlight mystique fool hadnt ran his mouth off. damn 15 yr olds. i hope you will bring this site back, its the best site ive found on the web in about 3 years. thanks and good luck lance.
im doin a 100 on the highway... so if you do the speed limit get the f*** out of my way.

I'd just like to say that I used this site to the fullest. I was on the main page all the time, looking up profiles, going into links and reviews, and checking the how to's. So Lance, you can erase me from your list of people that use this site merely to f-off.
FYI, the NE-CEG branch was used more to set up meets (almost once a week) and to discuss technical stuff, than to screw off, although I'll admit there was some one that, but we're not robots!! At least 99% of our topics were related to contique stuff.

I posted this but I will say it again.I love this site, and really do appreciate it!let us all not forget that this a car club,a club to preserve the contour and build friendships!!It is sad that this site is in jepordy of shutting down. The good will pay for the bad. What is wrong people today that they things too far?Hey a little gripe here and there, but come on.I'm up for a yearly membership fee,and if you can't act or post with respect, then your membership is revoked. The key is to police him/herself,know when something is going to far and backoff.let's kkep this site up!!keep the friendships!!!and long live the contour!!!. .that is my thoughts. Chris

whoa...blaming this whole mess on me? That's low. This is a great place, it just has its moments, like any other place. I wish it wouldnt close down, it has helped me ALOT! It has helped everyone alot. When I first got my Mystique, my great aunt awned it (an 80-some year old woman) and thats who I thought these cars were designed for: 80 year old women. But when I found this place, I realised that this car was a pretty cool car. It had alot of potential. I've done a few mods, and I can safely say that I would not have had the car this long if it werent for this place. Please, keep it up! I still have alot of questions, and alot of others do too! Think of how many people buy a ConTique each day! Think of how many dont know about this sight, but will find out about it, and then see that it's being closed down.
