I'm going to try and make it- I may have a conflict with work, but I'll try and at least stop by at "the gathering."

I was going to do a vote on the fun run, but I only received one candidate, so that's we're working with.

10:00 to 12:00: Meet and Greet at Southpoint Office Center 1700 W 82nd Street, Bloomington. (This is just south of 494 of 35W. Will have detailed directions later, when I know which entrance we have to use.)

12:00: Lunch. There a several restaurants in the area, and we can decide on the day.

After Lunch: Drive to Menomonie, WI, with a fun run in the surrounding countryside. Good roads, good cars, and beautiful fall color.

I'm hoping to see y'all there. If you're planning on coming, please e-mail me at svtcarboy@yahoo.com, so I have an idea of how many are interested.

Directions to 1700 West 82nd Street:

From any direction but from the South: Go to 35W and 494, and take 35W south (of already on 35W, continue South). Exit 82nd street exit (1st exit south of 494). Take a right at the light onto 82nd, take first right (light) at Knox, take first right into Southpoint Office Center, and we will be in the parking lot on the right.

From South, go North on 35W, and exit 82nd street. Take a left at light onto 82nd. Take a right on Knox (second light). The rest is the same.

Any questions? E-mail me at svtcarboy@yahoo.com.

Looking forward to seeing you all Saturday!

well -

my svt is still in the shop
the camry rental car had bad brakes - so that's gone...then i had an olds alero 4 banger which sucked...so yesterday i had it and *****ed and now i am driving a phatty '00 Buick Regal LS - the one with the beeft series II 3800 V-6. This car hauls, but only in a straight line, b/c the suspension is softer then most mattresses.

what to do, what to do.

Hey All:

I may be able to make a short run after lunch, must be back to Bloomington around 1:30ish.

What vehicles and mods will be there?

I run a stock 95SE Champagne (Edition). I will wash it tonight.

I'm interested in performance mods any folks have installed. Especially KKM. Exhaust would be simple bolt on SVT in my mind. Should I keep this rig, that may be in the cards.

Do we have a run mapped out (mapquest.com), for I'd like to pre-view to know when/where to break it off for return.

Just thought it'd be fun to 'test drive' something of a dealer lot for an hour or so ... any used SVT's for sale in the Metro area?

I've gone to digest mode on list server, so please post to me direct.

There are at least two svts for sale in the metro. Go back a cuple of weeks in the MN forum and you will see the posts regarding the svts for sale.

Well, admittedly, I don't have an exact plotted course, another CEGer is going to be our tour guide, and I think we were going to base things on how long people wanted to run.

I can say though, that we probably won;t be getting out of here until 12:30 to 1:00, as it is a good idea to have a meal before starting a run.

Another thing is that the ramp from Southbound 35W to 82nd street is closed today, and I don't know if it will be open tomorrow. The easiest detour is to exit 90th street, and take two lefts to turn around, then use the directions for those heading from the south.
