Does anyone know or can tell how many SVT and/or nonSVT CEG members are in the Houston area? What I'd like to see is all of us get together and take one big group photo as high as possible. I have a few ideas about where to do it. I am a photographer and I have the equipment. We just need the people. Can we get it going? Keith? You wanted to do something more than hang out at the mall.
I do have another idea. Next May in pearland, there will be the 6th annual Pearland Band Booster Car show. The money raised in car entrance fees are given directly to the high school band program. It would be cool to see a bunch of out there. Last May we had a record 60+ cars. Sooooooooooooooo, we could plan for a dozen or so of us to show up.

I have an idea get a group together and come down here to South Padre....... :p

I'm in if it's soon. If not I might be in a lightning or cobra, but would still be interested.

If only there was more internet interest here in the Houston area. I have seen 2 silver SVT's that I left notes on about this site along with other Contours. I have seen a couple of other SVT's that I was not able to hook up with. I would leave CEG notes on their windows and the only reply I saw here was from someone that was already a CEG'R.

That might've been me . I remember being at Baybrook Mall one time and someone leaving a printout of contour.org.

Anyway, i've always been on these boards and every once in a while we'll get a little traffic in here, and then it'll die out. I'm down for a get together one day. Like what was stated in the other thread, Baytown is always a cool place because we can run our cars, sit in the stands and hand out or look at our cars in the parking lot. As a matter of fact, my friends are going tomorrow night, but i doubt i'm going. I made plans with my wife to go to the movies.

There's an SVTOA meeting on July 27th at Texas Ford off of I-10. A bunch of the local SVT owners are getting together there to show their cars off, talk about our local chapter, etc. Y'all want in?? I'll give more details if there's any interest, we could then coordinate some sort of group pic or something. Let me know. . .

Man, what rocks are everybody crawling out from under? The only person i can ever get to meet with is CB99SVT and btramm a couple of times. It's good to see some people come around. Hopefully we can start getting together every so often.

ssmumich00, what time is everyone meeting up over there. I had e-mailed the guy about it but never got a response. So let me know I would like to meet some local members.
