My SE has 40,000 but I plan on keeping it a while, compared to Escort's and Chevette's it a
major improvement. Any problems with your SVT other than the water pump or are you just
ready for something different? What are you considering?

Keith, no problems other than the waterpump and your right for the money there really isn't anything better. As far as selling the car goes I'm just ready for something different I've had tour since November of 97 and I'm just ready to move on. I've been considering quite a few cars, here's the list
Honda S2000
E36 BMW M3
E36 BMW M-coupe
99-01 Mustang Cobra
01 Lightning
MKIV Toyota Supra TT (won't happen because they want 30,000+ for one in good condition.)
The goal is to have a car that is a great drivers car, will perform the 1/4 mile 14.0 seconds stock, and is a great autocrosser. Let me know what you think. Later

Have you considered insurance and maintaince costs in your decision? I like BMW's, and the Honda is nice. About autocrossing, with a Lightning? That would look interesting and in what class would you be. Of the cars I watch last weekend it seemed that the Mustangs had a bit more problem with handling than some others, rear end getting a little loose. Just some thoughts.

Insurance is covered and I've tried to cover all of the expenses of the various cars. To tell you the truth I'm leaning towards the lightning, its not a great autocrosser, but heck I'll make up for that at the drag strip and I think I would shock a few people at Gulf Greyhound with a suspension setup and some hoosiers. I'm still thinking, but checkout carmax in the houston area and search for f-150. The red one might just might be mine. Later

I saw a lowered F-150 with some wide rubber today, similar body style, a Lightning would look even better, side skirts, front spoiler, fogs!! A guy that works at the HEB in League City has a silver Lightning. Talk about a sleeper, 380 HP, it'll blow the doors off lots of cars in a drag and be an eye catcher at an autocross.

Well, talk is cheap(er) than a car. It is good to get some talking done now in the decision making process. Sounds like your doing some good searching and taking time to think about it.
