Haven't tried disconnecting the battery or anything else yet, but in the meantime I'll ask... Does anyone have an OBD-II scanner? Barring that, can anyone recommend a shop that will pull the code(s) for me (and not grouse about my wanting to do the repair myself)? Med Center / Galleria area preferred. I just want to get any current codes, but if it's simple to do I wouldn't mind checking for past codes as well. I was planning on going to Dallas on Saturday, so I'm glad you responded quickly! Ended up I had P1131 in continuous memory, but the KOEO and KOER self-tests were clean. We reset the code and it hasn't come back (yet). If it does I'll replace the oxygen sensors.
