My SVT is being evaluated by the insurance company it was flooded. To the best of my knowledge it is dead, the water was level inside the car to the stereo. all night.

Damn dude that bites the big one. OK now I am going in for the kill. Are you planning on parting anything out? Someone thought it would be cute to kick my rear spoiler mesh out. So........ Just thought I would ask. I hope you get what its worth and then some.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

Let us know if the vehicle will be available for spare parts.

I am sooo sad to hear about the drowning your SVT. These cars deserve a more honorable death. ...and the vultures are already circling...

Vultures huh? Better that we on the list ask for the parts from a inevidtable situation, instead of the grubby insurance who, for the most part will probably try to ream Mr G-man.
I didnt want to sound harsh or anything. If my car was totaled, then I would want to sell my aftermarket parts instead of just simply losing out on them. It is a sad situation, Sorry that it happened,

Once the car is evaluated by the insurance depending on the outcome I will try and get all the aftermarket items off if it considered a total lost then I will get a WRX the only worthy replacement for the tour with suspension upgrade performance exhaust carbon dash,e-brake, and titanium short trow shifter all from the factory.Wish me luck and pray that my insurance company gives me a good deal. Then the Scooby will be mine ahahahhahahahahahhaha, im delirious from all the water damage, my house is in shambles also. Ohh yeah I will give whatever parts I can get back from the car on first come first serve basis I will post on it when I find out laterz.

The "vulture" comment was meant to be sarcastic. Why let good parts go to waste, as in a crusher! That is a sad enough thought in itself. After all, the Contour SVT is a one-of-a-kind American car not likely to be reproduced in the near future.

The car was towed today and taken to Joe Myers Ford. Insurance came and said they will contact me today. I test drove the WRX yesterday and saw the one that I want it has a nice ground effect kit and gauge package, shortshifter and spoiler going for 29,000 it is a-lot faster than the tour don't line up with one, after it hits 3000 rpm it is all over. But my tour still looks better and I would rather just have my tour back turbo or not.
