Ran in the autocross at the Blimp hangers on March 4th. Had a good time there. There was another SVT participating in the autocross, the driver owned a Cobra Mustang that was in the shop and the dealer let him use the SVT while they had the Cobra.
Ran some average times, ended up second in my class (ESP) out of three.
Next one is on April 1 at the Greyhound Track at exit 15 off I-45 by Hitchcock. They run a morning and afternoon sessions with two groupings in each session. The morning one gets opens for registration around 8:30 am with heats going around 9:30 am.
The afternoon session starts around 1:00 depending when the morning session ends.
Each driver gets 4 runs, and have to work a corner for the other grouping in your session.
If you are planning on going, clean out you car before you drive down. ANY LOOSE OBJECTS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE CAR. this includes anything in the glove compartment, trunk, and even the floor mats.
