Well, one of my roommates was offered a job in Brazil or at Texas Tech, so he'll have to decide this week, but either way, he's leaving the city. My other roommate has decided that he wants to have his own place (which is understandable since he's never lived alone).

But, I had my own place for the first 2 years here, and I'm not real wild about it, but it seems that's the road I'm heading down. I kinda got spoiled paying $500/month for rent and having this huge apartment, but that may be coming to an end soon. I hate the hassle of moving and paying deposits and all that crap. Looks like the end of August it is.

Dude, you need to move in here. Electricity is FREE, plus you'll have cool neighbors.

I think I may do this...try a 1/1 at my complex, save the deposits and crap. They will give me a good deal being a current resident and all. Then, I'll get a covered parking spot and my first month free. I'll use the money from my first free month to buy myself a washer/dryer. Plus, I wouldn't have to get a moving truck cause I could just carry my stuff to the next place.

Move to Texas Tech alongside your roomie and stay at my house. We can party often. Just ask Kris...

I called the folks today and they can work out a good deal to keep me in the complex, so I'm going to meet with them tomorrow. I asked if they could get me close to $700, she said they could be below $700. At least it's a good time to get looking, apartments have availability and want to fill it up, even if it's for a little less than they'd like.

I'm going to see one tomorrow, and this time, I'm getting covered parking.
