Here's the latest:

-The Indiglo Gauges are in (thanx to Hector)

-Upper dash is painted Metallic Black, and is installed

-Light switch/Mirror switch piece is painted Silverfrost Metallic and is installed

-Radio and HVAC surround is painted Silverfrost Metallic and is waiting to be installed

-Front console is painted Silverfrost Metallic on the inside portion, and Metallic Black on the outside and is waiting to be installed

-Center console is painted Metallic Black and is waiting to be installed

-HVAC Indiglo is on the way

-Door handle inserts are painted Silverfrost Metallic and are installed

-Door release handle surround is painted Silverfrost Metallic on all doors and is installed

-Vents and and the Contour emblem on the dash are in the process of being assigned the proper color. Might keep them original or paint them Black or Silver.

Once I install the HVAC Indiglo, all the remaining pieces will be put back together, something that is surely gonna be an adventure...

[/qb][/QUOTE]Milan word of warning. make sure u buy the special paint for that stuff. because it will peal like crazy. my friend did that to his probe. his doors pealed, and it looked like crap. go to a paint store and tell them that u want, interior paint. btw, about your seats, you will probably have to get them recovered with leather. it will run about 2000-3000.

just make sure u get the write paint. anything that can move, like leather, has to be painted with specail paint.[/QB][/QUOTE]


Yup and i can confirm that ( im not the guy with that probe) But the one walter is talking about oh my the first color actually was blue then white then finaly black but it wasnt preped right and used your typical Ace hardware paint. plus it took him like 30 min each and then tried installing right away. They kids and they try to keep up with tha big boys so thats what they get.

Well as far as the doors are concerned, there is Vynol paint that you can buy, but I not touching that crap. The only way to do this, and the only right way to do it, is to have it professionally done. I figure for the two front doors it wouldn't be too damaging for my vallet. We'll see. I just hate that damn blue color...

The HVAC Indiglo is in, and I put most of the interior back together. And you know what? OMFG is it awesome!
