Why don't we enter our cars into the show like the Cougar guys did last year? A lot of us have some show quality vehicles and it would be a good way to rep the CEG and show you can "hook up" a Contour. Plus I don't remember seeing any at the show last year. Anybody interested?

I will enter my car if other will. Even if its just me and you hector :p

We went to a Ford Show at Victor Ford last July and a bunch of CEG's entered. About 6-8 were in it. This year, it is on 7/14/02.

It is a nice drive up there and the Volo Car Museum is near by, too

Last year, it was 100 degrees out! :p

I will go to both shows! Are they both on a Sunday and what are the dates?

i had my car in the landmark show last year. i think i was the only contour in it.

Must of been later in the day. So far its Kevin, Charlie, Tom?, and me. I think it would be cool to get this going. I didn't go to the Victor show. Where is it at? I know it is something like a month away.

victor show was the last sighting of christian to my knowledge. thats the last time i saw him. it was hot as all hell last time

This year's Victor Car Show is July 14th, Saturday.

Victor Ford Car Show

Last year we went all the way back to the Portillos in Schaumburg for lunch. This year we can go someplace near Victor Ford. There are places on RT 12 near IL 22.

You guys should enter the Landmark Ford show and I am not just saying that because I belong to the Stallions Gate club. Trust me, you will get a lot of attention as a group. The rest of the Stallions Gate club still talk about the turnout of the NECO group last year. I will be working the show this year, so I probably won't have a lot of spare time to shoot the breeze, but I will see what I can do. The Victor Ford show isn't really a show but more of a gathering. It all started out as a CEG get together a few years ago and Victor Ford just expanded it from there. Where else can you go and drool over cars like a real 427 Shelby Cobra and 2000 Mustang Cobra R model?

For both of these events I will be giving my Contour a rest and will be out in my SVO. Just look for a black Mustang with plates SVO NO 5.0. Later.
