Lately I have been thinking how to improve our club and I have come to the idea of posting a monthly report on various different things. It will come out every first of the month, and today being the first of June, I thought that I should introduce this new addition to the CCEG. I am not totally finished with this month's report, so I will finish this newsletter on Monday. Until then, the topic will be closed, and once I post the whole newsletter, you guys will be able to reply to it.

OK. I spoke to Kevin yesterday, and we agreed to work on this together. We think that this would be unique to the CCEG board, and is intended to help all of us.

We will use this newsletter as a tool of providing general info on our cars, provide tips on mods or general tips on keeping up our cars, and provide details on meets. Also it may be used for news for the CCEG.

If any one of you would like to have us post any ideas or commentaries in the newsletter that you have, please PM them to either Kevin (I-Dom-In-8) or Milan (Milan007)

We are gonna keep this post open to your ideas and suggestions on this, as we wanna make this thing a usefull tool for all of us.

We have not made a decision whether the newsletters will be open to discussion or if they would be posted and then locked.

Any input from you guys is essential to the success of this...

Finally, the newsletter will come out on the 1st day of every month. This month's newsletter is this introductory report...

Thanks,

Kevin & Milan

Harper College is going to do that same car show in August like they did last summer.

Also, I will keep an eye for all Ford shows at local dealers. Last year we went to Victor Ford and Landmark Ford.

The show at Landmark is:

Sunday August 11, 2002 - Rain or Shine
9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Landmark Ford
6200 W. Touhy Ave.
Niles, IL

Courtesy of Stallion's Gate club

2000 SE fleet, V6, ATX, ABS, no spoiler, T-Green/tan. Built 01/2000 in MO.
Added 12 spoke factory SE rims, K&N. Biggest mod: ESP Plan!

I might as well put in a shameless plug for the Landmark show since I belong to the club that puts on the show, here is a link to the details:

http://www.stallionsgate.com/sgmcshow.html

Last year we had a pretty big turnout from the NECO group. I talked with a few of them and they seemed to enjoy the show. They were having all kinds of tech and mod sessions during the show. Don't think because you don't have a show car you can't enter it in a show, that isn't what it is all about. Just clean it, wax it, vacuum it and drive it in.

This year I will be volunteering at the show, so I won't have as much BS time on my hands. I hope to see some of ya there. Later.
