Member M Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 111 evanston IL	ok, i know this isn't the Skyline enthusiasts page but theres a real Nissan Skyline that has been posted outside my local rice shop for about 3 weeks now. i see it almost every day, and its an amazing car! At first i didn't think its real, but it is right-hand drive, the speedo goes up to 320 km (200 mph) and the racing seats (w/4 point harness) are the same material as the puny back seats. are there any other ways to identify a real skyline? has anybody else seen one here in the Chi? btw, its right off of Archer and Halstead. 2000 SVT K&N Drop-in Pioneer Face 12" Kicker 1999 se

Archer Ave. If you really want to see it you go to Chinatown and go west on Archer for about 2 miles. The shop is on your left right after a bank (I don't know the name) If you can wait he will be at Hot Import Nights. I got to see that MF in person. WRXBoy Member W Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 804 Carol Stream, IL	theres a couple of these things (3 or 4 maybe) rolling around chicago and the burbs, i've seen a white, older model (r32?) on 290 before. most likely its the real deal, simply because nissan never imported that bodystyle to america, so unlike most of the evo's you see running around it'd be harder to fake a skyline! skylines rock! the infinity G35 coupe coming to america soon is basically the new skyline, no GT-R version yet, lets keep our fingers crossed! You could rent them from the local car rental place...ohh yeah there's some memories!! When I go back to Washington State in December there's a pretty good change I'll be going back to Japan again.
