Hey Joe, Question for ya. Over the last 6 trips to various dealers and body shops, somone WAY overtourqed my lug nuts, so bad that i broke the key to my lock-lug nuts. Now i cant get any of them off. What method do you know of on how to get these off without the key? A friend of mine who works at a honda dealer says they make master key sets, that are sold by the manufacturer McGaurd for these purposes. All the subaru dealers i called today had no idea what i was talking about. Tonight i tried pounding a 3/4" socket on but that got me nowhere. I'm anxious to get these off cause i have autocross class this weekend, and i want to use my summer tires on my 17's. Any advice would be cool, Thanks

I had same thing happen and I had to be towed to a Ford dealer. I had a flat and couldn't get the darn things off.
May have to try tire places too.

well it aint so much a master key as they have sets of different keys that could work i know they do cuz there in parts and i used to work there but some time they would have to pound a socket on and bust it off and replace the stud

just tires did it for 25 bucks in less than an hour. they had a tool set specifically for the job, from snap-on. The tech working on my car said this happens all the time, which is why they have these tools.
now my 17's can finally go on!

Once they overtorqued my lug nuts to 300ft/lbs on my old wheels! I had to have them pay to torch the bolts off!
