(2) I could see us getting into it with maybe a Honda club but with our own members? There is definitley a problem here.(1) Saturdays at the Living Room suck total cock... I picked the place b/c that is where we all usually hang out. Next time someone else can recommend a different place... Sorry man, but we will meet again somewhere. We should make night meets more frequent!
(2) I agree w/you a 100%. This is the precise reason that I was appalled the way Ron was reaming Joe on the other post. We have enough bull**** from ****ing Ricers, that I was so disappointed to see that we had dissent within a Ford club. I will be the first one to say that I love Mustangs, hell my first car was a Black GT, but the way Ron went off really bothered me. Now that the dust seems to be settling down, I hope that there is some more understanding as to how some people feel about their cars.
I love unity within the group, and that is why I started this thread. When Dan wanted to leave, I did all I could to convince him to stay. I don't want Ron to leave, and I am sure that the majority of you feel the same way. This whole deal was a simple outburst of emotion and it is a shame that it got out of control.
As for expressing your opinion, by all means do so! However, please remeber that every comment that is negative regarding our cars will be met by either general dismay, or it will be met by a feeling of being personally insulted. The latter is where the problem mainly exists.
And while many of you will shrug off a bad comment about a Contour, some of us who are real fanatics will be totally enraged. It is just pure emotion, plain and simple.
Hopefully this can leave no residue on this club, and more importantly, I hope it brought us more togheter, as we are all in the same camp.
I am looking forward to Friday night, so lets hope that many of you show up!
Thanks for listening.
