Never mind, the MTX Zetec I had in mind doesn't have power windows/locks. I didn't mind downgrading a trim level, because I was going to replace the ugly LX wheels anyway...but I need the power windows/locks on a sedan.

So looks like I'm headed for plan B, saving up for an impractical MR roadster and keeping my current 'Tour till she dies...just going to be awhile longer...make that a lot longer.

hey i purchased my 98 contour which is a 2.5 MTX from a private owner for $7,700. i figure i got a good deal cuz most people today, in reality, dont want to drive a stick outta sheer laziness. i love my car and its the ultimate sleeper. if u can fine a 5 speed SE jump on it bro.
