go to college!!! really, people have started telling me the crap they do or did for money at school. im scared. now i feel guilty after dropping like five bucks at wendy's. not to mention buying a cd. i need a new res, which im thinking is like ballpark 125-150 with install. right now that seems way out of the question. ive got so many things that i want to do with my car, but have no hope of affording and still seeing my way through school. oh well it looks like the lottery for me again. oh yeah you can also get a high maintnence girlfriend or a drug/alchahol habit: two things i dont have thank God.
on the road of life there are fast cars, and then there are hondas.

SCHOOL IS NO CURE FOR THE MOD BUG!! I know that from personal experience. The college kids you talk of are ones that have to give blood so they can afford lunch. In other words, they do not work, etc. I work, and make enough money to pay the bills and allow for some spending, which has been almost entirely on my car since I got it. A high-maint girl would definitely bring that crashing down, cause we all know what's more important. Well I do at least.
The magnetic stripe on my check card hates the mod bug. But my car likes it.
Silver E1 I'm afraid Speed Demon has given me the mod bug. AIM: Davo7Wins

The mod bug can only be cured by buying mods. There is no cure.

I don't know....going to school cured it for me while school was in session (however I do remember having a few parts sent to my dorm room) and I think that was just because I had other things to do....
but when I was out of school for vaca I started modding again...
I really got out of modding when I went to trade in that car and saw how worthless it was, sure the car was more fun to drive and it was a great learning experience doing all of that work to it, but I lost a lot of money in the car and I figured I am better off buying a car from the factory which has what I want (or close to it) and just driving it, rather than pouring money into upgrades...this is the second time I have lost money on a car deal, the first was with a car that was stolen for my stereo....

I still had the mod bug in college, now I've found the final solution. Buy a house! My offer will be either declined or accepted by 8pm tonight, if I get the house I'm gonna need a lawnmower and every other thing home depot carries!

I was broke but scholarships helped out tremendously along with athletic boosters. I even took out loans to support my expensive 2K supplement and eating habit during football season.
Loans might be the way to go, especially if you are in a program where you are going to come out of school making at least 50k/year!

Take more than 12 units at a time and you won't have time to mod your car, even if you have the money! Karl
