Alright first off seeing as I havent heard from Dan as of yet I to ask this. Is everyone here still cool with Dan being your guy for the Contour guys seeing as he know doesnt have one? I am fine with this as long as everyone else is. Second some info on the event. It is set for April 20th with a rain date of April 27th. These days are Saturdays. It will be bracket style with two brackets. Times to be decided shortly. There will be no breakouts allowed. Being bracket style no restrictions on work done to cars. Poeple will not be allowed to change class after racing as started but will be allowed to change dial in after every run if they chose to do so. Time trials will be 10am-12 noon. Racing to start at 1 pm. Track fee's will be $25 and entering the race will be another $5 to cover the cost of the trophies being provided for the race. This is some of the basic info. Rules and all will be handed out at the track.

Forgot one other important question. Dan are you still comfortable with doing this or are you going to feel out of place because of the car ownership thing? Like I said I have no problems with it. It depends on how you and everyone else feels about it.

Well Dan hasnt got ahold of me and nobody is responding here. Who can be the "group coordinator" for the Contour owners? Not really that big of a deal. Just gives me a little help in handling everyone there when I dont have to take care of every group there. Would you all be cool with someone from the Cougar boards handling the Tours too? Let me know what you all think. I am trying to make this everyones event and fun for all, hopefully including myself.

Ok people time is starting to trickle down now. I need someone to be the coordinator. I am have trouble with either version of this chassis, as the Cougar end isnt working out too good either. Most likely whoever steps up first from either site is going to handle both Cougars and Contours. Dan I see you posting on the site but you havent answered my questions nor has anyone else about how they feel about the sitution. I need to know. The race is ONLY WEEKS AWAY now. This has got to get done and FAST.

Steve -- sorry, I've been on vacation. I can't really coordinate/hang out w/you guys....my car isn't American! :p Sorry to back down, but I don't honestly think I will have time. Maybe Joe (HisSvt2) will do it!?

Well Joe, what do you say? You feel up to it. I need to know soon, very soon and would need to meet up with you this Saturday to give you the info. If nobody steps up here I think I will have the person from the Cougar board that steps up handle both the Cougars and Contours. Time is quickly running short here and I have to get something done fast.

Ok here is some info. Because I have having hard time finding anyone here to coordinate, Reagan over at the Cougar board is handling both the Cougars and Contours. The name has be chosen. It is American Small/Compact Vehicle Race. The brackets have been set at class A-15.499 and faster and class B-15.500 and slower. Now lets see some show of hands. Who is going making Contour owners proud?
