Anybody know of any good shops in the area? I'm want to get my resonator taken out and replaced with a glasspack tomorrow, but I'm not sure where to take it. Where has everyone else got their work done? Just like everyone else in the world, I want decent work at a low price...suggestions?

Send me a PM....there is one here in Aurora/Naperville called The Exhaust Works. Top quality work, HisSvt2 can vouch for it.

I got it done today. I got it done at Midas about 2 blocks from my house. It cost me $15 for a glasspack from Autozone, and 25 to have it put on. Sounds awesome!

ChiTown -- it's a muffler stuffed with this fiberglass stuff that absorbs sound. Problem is.....the glass tends to get blown out and disintegrates quickly. Therefore, it serves no purpose. laugh

I have SVT exhaust with straightpipe....IM me or something and I'll send you a sound clip. Raspy once it starts up and yes it drones a bit, but sounds cool as hell!

don't staight pipe you SVT! I did it, and the rasp and extreme loadness of it will drive you nuts, and the cops nuts too! I was cool for a little while. It was a good thing that when I got it done it was done really really cheap, so I got a real cat-back exhaust pretty fast. But I got to pulled over twice within 2 weeks of having straight pipes.
