yes...like cosmetics...in GT1 and 2 they had a "racing modification" in the "Others" tuning section. It usually had 1 different look for your car including lowering, spoiler and a paint job/graphics job. Most cars had it, some didn't...some had 2, 3 even 6 different modifications you could pick from. To me it was the best part of the game, it gave you a different perspective of your car or a car you would see on the street, what it would look like if it were a race car. yeah, maybe it was dumb to some people...it was kinda expensive though...80,000. oh well
