You mean, like the DTM Mondeo's from the mid to late 90's?

My answer to the original question: It depends.

I've seen a few on here, and they generally look good if mounted properly (not hanging too low.) Coupled with tasteful custom motorsport-look wheels, it's a nice look. Maybe an overstatement, though, if the rest of your car is bone stock.

Hey, not trying to slag anybody (sorry if anyone was offended), just I think the look works on Bimmers and VWs, but not so much on others. To each their own. If you do it, be sure to get the stainless steel tape (I have seen a damaged bumper as a result of a DTM tip).

For a Contour, I'd lean towards the twin slash tips. Can't go wrong.
