So lets pick a place and date now, so that people can plan ahead, and more people will be able to come. I am thinking Sunday June 9, but we have do decided where we want to meet this time. Hooters was pretty good and empty, but I dont know if I want to go to the same place again. Lets hear some ideas.

Yes, let us get some variety in. Byron was fun and it would be nice to get a big group of us in.

I got the perfect place...it's even in schaumburg. Culvers. It's and Ice cream/burger joint with all kinds of good food. We could hang out, look at cars, go eat lunch, come back out, check out cars some more and then get some cream! I don't know if any of you have ever been there before but Culvers is awesome food and Ice cream. The closest one to me is in wisconsin so I don't go there as often as I'd like. I have never been to the one in schaumburg so someone near ther could go check it out. The address is 1800 Wise road, just east of Irving Park road. Check out the web site Culvers Not sure about the parking arrangements but everyone I've been too had plenty. Let me knoe what you guys think. Oh and you guys pick the date. Later

Culvers is a good idea. It's actualy across the street from the Cue Can Due. I'm not to sure about the parking, though. Culver's lot is big, but I'm not sure how busy they are on a Sunday. Hopefuly I will be able to attend this meet.

Culvers does have some good munchies. But I think we need to do something involving an activity. Down here in Naperville there is a Hooters within walking distance (100 yd) of a cool go-kart track we should all go race at. There's also a Pep Boys right near by we could all go stop in at. Plus it's just off of 88 and there is plenty of stuff nearby, even a Steak & Shake, Culvers, etc. There is a huge mall right next to Hooters with a massive parking lot we could use. And lots of good cruising roads very close by. So I say we head down near my place. Anyone who likes the idea, speak up! We need some more variety than just Schaumburg LOL! :p

ok, well I thought you guys didn't want to do anything outside of schaumburg. I really DO NOT want to do hooters again, they are lame. The service sucks and the foods not that good anyway. The go cart thing is kinda cool though. What we NEED to do is what other car groups do...go on a drive somewhere and show off our cars. We all like other people to look at our cars right?, right. Anyway...A place near me is Gurnee Mills Mall. The parking lot is more like a small city and there is a plethora of food there...plus there is alot of cool roads to go on drives. (you can get out of the city quickly...winding roads ) I don't really care if it's near my house or not, I'll drive hours to go somewhere, hell I just drove to Kansas Thursday afternoon and came back friday night/Sat. 10 hours each way...road trips are cool! Anyway, I am just trying to give other ideas people.

Like I stated, the go karts would be fun for us to d.ick around with. There is a Culvers and Steak and Shake nearby, not to mention a Joe's Crab Shack, and every other major fast food joint. But as to places to show off cars, I am unsure on that. I could start to look.

You guys/girls (saying tht cause I seen two girls with the cougars saturday)want to show off your cars? I have an idea for all of you then. The club is putting together a car show for June 24th. I can give too much detail for about another week give or take a little. What I can say is that it will most likley be $10 to enter and there will be trophies awarded. We have some really cool things planned out for it. As soon as I can give all the details I will let you all know. So what does anyone think about this idea?

Is this for Midwest Racing Club? I would feel almost silly because I am one of only a few pre-98s! Also, Steve -- I am 16. Can I join?
