Well its upon us again, the 8th annual WDC and I hope we have an even better turnout than last year. The WDC meeting spot last year saw a total of 17 different Tours come through there and once it got going, no less than 8 Tours representing. For those who don't know the meeting spot is on the E side of Woodward about 3/4 mile N of Maple (15 mile) What your looking for is the National City bank and right next door to it is a couple of parking lots w/ rear lots for your buddies with "regular" cars. This is a good spot for many reasons, one being its FREE, unlike others. Another reason is we have good shade and were right around a bend which lends us to people "getting on it" I for one make a day of it, getting there at about 5:00 a.m. and getting home about 10:00 p.m. I don't expect everyone to get there that early, although I do have a couple of guys confirmed to show up early. This is very helpful because one guy can save 1-2 parking spots for those showing up later. That being said, I'd like to know about what time those of you coming out are planning on showing up. I ask this because last year I couldn't save any spots because I didn't know who was/wasn't showing up for sure and I don't want to piss anyone off, especially those "old school" guys who don't get it  I know this post is a month early but its not to soon to start setting this up to make it a good turnout for everyone Any questions feel free to ask away and I'm sure myself or someone can answer it or email me, thanks guys!

Also there are NO free parking spots over there either I do agree with you about Chicken Shack though, they have "THE" best ribs...period

yeah we'll make it work regardless. if we had to pay for parking, i'd be b*tching about that too so dont take it personal. for all my years of going to the cruise though, i have yet to make it to downtown pontiac. i may have to get up at an insane Roger R time to go see what the deal is this year .
