So I moved to Clarkston on Saturday. Comcast doesn't offer the cable modem up here (yet, supposedly) and Ameritech doesn't have DSL or anything either. Does anyone know if there is any type of high speed internet offered for this area? I can't deal with dial-up after having a cable modem (that sometimes worked anyhow).

Yeah I'm still going to OU. The drive is the same distance just the complete opposite direction. Aaron, thanks for the website. I'm going to check it right now.

You might be able to use satellite service if cost is not an issue with you. That is the way i am going in about a month or so.

I'm 2 miles north of 75 on Ortonville Rd. (M19 I think...?) Belmont Ct. if you know the area. You have to be withing a certain distance of your cable providor or something, and aparently my new house is just beyond that. Comcast said they are currently working on our area, but they said it would be done sometime between Monday (today) and the end of August

Mike, there was one DSL providor that said they could give us the business version of their service as opposed to the residential one. But it was going to be $189/month which isn't worth it if Comcast will have their service available in a month or so.
