Even after the Red Wings win the cup. I was at a friends house watching the game and after they won, my friends and I decided to cruise telegraph and enjoy all the celebration. So we parked on the side of the road and stood at the curb slapping hands with people driving by. This lasted for about 30 minutes, until the cops came. So we called it a night and were heading home. Well closer to my house, more people were out so we decided to make a few more laps. Well I turned down a side street to turn around the block, and WHAM. It happens. Some young (senior in high school), came flying out an alley at about 20 mph, and side swipes me. At impact, it put my car on the drivers side wheels. Finally I slammed down on all four wheels and came to a halt. I get out of my car and looked how bad it was. Then I ran over to check on the other driver. Turns out, all four people in the car were drunk. All in all, the cops show up and give the other driver a ticket for failure to yield. I guess what I am trying to say is, don`t drink and drive . You never know what is going to happen. I am sitting here, still in shock of what happened. Luckily, nobody was hurt and the cars can be replaced. And to make things worse is to see your car driving away on a flatbed tow truck. mad

I will be taking pics tomorrow, just as soon as I figure on how to get to the dealership and meet my insurance agent there. But I will keep you guys posted about this and sorry for the ramble.

On a positive note, GO WINGS!!!!!

Damn man, so sorry to hear about that. Did the kids get nailed for drunk driving too? I sure hope so, it's the only way they will really learn some type of a lesson.

Ya man, Im sorry to hear that, hope everything turns out good for the repairs to your car..

..the ONLY way that I can see if there was someone drunk in a car, is if they were in the backseat cause the D.D. was drivin them home...other than that...as Judge said...no drinky drivey!!!!

Sorry for that saying about being careful while drinking. When I posted it earlier, I was still in shock at what happened. As of now, I got a copy of the police report, now I am waiting for Hahns collision shop to call me so I can stop by and get an estimate and get pics of the car.
