[rant on]
So over the last month I've been getting numerous emails from stupid 16 year old kids who have seen my car posted on autotrader.com. The car has been listed for 12,000 or best offer and every email that I have received has been some little 16 or 17 year old kid who asks if I will take 8,500, or 9,000 and so on and so on. Well after about 15 of these emails I got fed up and replied to all future emails with this :
I am sorry but I am not negotiating the price through email. I am only negotiating the price with people who have come and looked at the car in person and driven it.
One moron in particular emails me back saying:
Alrighty then. Can you tell me everything about the car, where you are
located, asking price as of now, and every little detail about the car.
Then if it sounds good, I'll come take a look at it. All to often do I go
to look at a car and it's nothing like it was said to be.
I reply by saying :
Sorry, but you dont sound too interested.
He again replies :
I'm quite interested, from the little information I know about the car. But
I just want to make sure of everything before I would even go look at it.
If I am not mistaking you are somewhat far away from me. I am willing to
travel to look at it if it's worth it. That is why I wanted to know every
detail and whether or not you felt like it would be worth me traveling to
come and look at it. I wasn't trying to sound "not interested." I need a
car, I'm interested in anything that is good. Sorry if I am wasting your
time, not trying to. Thank you.
So after reading this, I have stuff to do so I figure I will email him back tonight. I get home, and what do I see? Another email from the same guy again :
Sorry if I didn't sound too interested. I was intereseted with cash *****.
You sound like a ****ING *******. Kiss my ass. I hope you don't sell that
piece of ****. I hope you roll the *****. Don't bother writing back.
Stupid ass.
Ok, now I'm pissed. Who does this stupid **** think he is? So I think to myself, I can eithe rstoop to his level and call him a bunch of names and make all kinds of wished for him to die in horrible ways, or I can just email him politely but through in a jab or two. I decide on the latter. Here is what I sent :

Way to be mature about it. I just got back from a trip and got both your
emails. Of course, I decided to respond to this one first. Anyway, Dont
worry, you arent the first immature kid to email me asking how little I will
sell my car for. Ohh, and just to let you know. A guy who was really
interested bought the car earlier today for $10,000 cash. As you can see,
the price WAS very negotiable but little kids like you are all talk and no
money. Have a nice life. I hope you find the car you are looking for.
ok, I guess Im done venting, but On a lighter note,my car is SOLD. I sold it to my friend today just like I said in my email.
I think this is one of the worse things to do to a car person IMO
