took my truck in on wed for some minor problems and an oil change. one of the problems being a "whistle noise" coming from engine bay/cab. not to mention my boost gauge "pegged" at 0psi at idle (never even attempted to give it any boost because i knew it was a vac leak)

they kept it for a day and a half... i picked it up thursday night around 6. looked at my service report, they said they couldn't find anything wrong with the engine noise and it wasn't throwing a MIL so it wasn't a concern.

so i take it back friday afternoon and they bring out a "foreman" i take him for a drive, he admits he can hear the noise, but says it is not a concern and is perfectly safe and to drive. I show him the boost gauge, he tells me that is "normal" and not a problem. i ask him to bring out a mechanic who has worked on svt f-150's before. 2 mechcanics come out and BOTH tell me the boost gauge is NEVER supposed to be in vac, because that would mean the s/c is working AGAINST the engine and hurting gas milage and performance... LOL, i almost sh*t a brick when they told me this. i got out of there as fast as i could.

i am taking my truck to Tom Holzer on monday... which i have heard nothing but good things about this dealership. anyway... STAY AWAY FROM BILL BROWN FORD THEY ARE MORONS WHO SHOULD NEVER, EVER WORK ON CARS.

i also filed a complaint with SVT and Ford Customer Service, and plan to file one with Bill Brown Ford Customer Service once my problem is resolved.

i am offically a troll... so take my information and advice with a grain of salt.

Hey bret you could also check out Blackwell.
Ask for Rich and tell him Drake sent ya.
He will shake his head and grumble then they will take care of you as long as you know what you are talking about.

Please take everything I post with an MDOT trucks worth of road salt! smile
Please help control the TROLL population by getting them spade or neutered!

Blackwell is good, I've only had one bad experience with them. Tom Holtzer is BAD!! Personally, I'd stay away from them.

Holzer rocks. I have been to MANY a bad dealership, and let me tell you, this is the first who offer truly great service. I can't speak for sales because I didn't buy there, but service ROCKS.
