Okay, what do you people think of the following products- STP Gas Treatment and this other one I say called "Mystery Oil"???

"Mystery Oil?" Need more info.

STP? I gather that you shouldn't waste your time with this one. Products that actually do what STP purports to do:

1. BG Products "44K"
2. Chevron "Techron"

Perhaps he is referring to Marvel's Mystery Oil? Pretty good for unfreezing a rusted nut; don't think I would ever consider dumping some in my gas tank.

marvel mystery oil has been around for some time. i know of people who have used it to break down rust in a "locked up" engine when the piston had sat for so long it siezed to the cylinder wall. it seems to have its uses.

PS - remove marvel mystery oil from the cylinders when attempting to start the engine. wink
