98 SE Member 9 Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 1,196 central MA	Whatever's cheapest is what I put in mine. I believe the manual recommends 87 octane for this particular engine (which I have also ). Matthew 98.5 Contour SE V6 It has spent 1.5 years under the wrong identity ;-)
