Apparently the folks at Dimension Ford/Lincoln-Mercury up in Ft.Wayne ,IN think so. They even have the gall to add a $5000 "market adjustment" to the $35,000 price tag. Sorrow Ford , for $40,000 grand there are a lot better car choices out there. Even at $35,000 I can't imagine them selling the thing.

Kudos to Merc for building the big Hot Rod, as it takes some balls to do so.

The front Mercury emblem totally detracts from the car's image. Needs to go.

It is a huge boat, so I am not suprised if they run in the 15's.

I bet it would be low 14 material with a good old Hot Rodder's tune-up: gears, exhaust, shift kit (computer work) and intake.

Too bad for that price you can get a nice pre owned BMW 530i (not the same type of car but that's a compliment here hehe!)

When I said he had tons of crap in his car, I didn't mean mods. (Although he has lots of those too.) He was in the process of moving and still had a bunch of stuff in his backseat and trunk.
The one time I rode with him, he took it up to 130mph in what felt like 15 seconds. This was in the rain, mind you. eek

Slow..."don't think its a muscle car?"...well let me say that the car only has a 3.55 gear, a choking exhaust system, 4.6 V-8, what do you expect? Anyways theres a bigger aftermarket for that engine than ours and that car will smoke our CSVT in a drag race, but thats about it. Also FYI the 1994-96 Impala SS ran 15.3 in the 1/4 mile and those cars had the LT-1 5.7L V-8 w/ 260 hp but only had a 3.08 gear though shocked The Marauder is one tough lookin car that you can actually go out and drag race w/o having to worry about blowing a diff like some other cars we all know about mad That being said I'll stick with my CSVT because of everything else it CAN do, like skipping the gas stations, going around corners fast to name a few laugh
