My friend had it put on his SVT and it sounds great. He hasn't taken out the baffles yet, but it looks like an easy job. One screw and then yank them out. I just hope it isn't a ***** to put them back if he doesn't like the sound.
Bassani does not have a resonator like the Borla system does. Hence the reason for the resonator tips.
Yes, it appears easy to remove them, but be fore-warned it is kind of deceiving. Prepare to do some major cursing, but the results are well worth it! It sounds better with them out IMHO.
Tommy, think a Bassani on a 2.5 sounds good? Some time I'll have to demonstrate it on a 3.0 for you (with baffles, I think without baffles might attract unwanted police attention in my case).
chknhwk's Brullen "Loud" with stock y-pipe sounds just like my setup with an aftermarket Y FWIW.
