Only way I can get mine to turn off is put the keys in the ignition and turn the key...pressing it again dosent do anything. I just wish it did like my friends Camaro does...lock your car with the remote, and unlock it manually (i.e. left the windows down, theif sticks armn thru window and slides lock manually) and open the door....BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP! I wonder if there's a way I can do that...

Rather try this maybe ... 250$ later you have a fully configurable alarm system with shock sensor, dual horns, remote start, PATS disable, extended range remotes, etc.. Keep the OEM keyless for when you give the car to a valet or the dealership. ..that's what I did..

You just have keyless entry with a silly Panic feature :p (eh, I'll just add that I thought about this too... but you'd need to buy a real security system with shock sensors and lock detectors before it will work)

Mine's the one way down at the end of the lot, where no other cars dare to park... Yeah, it's the one way back there in that dark corner of the parking lot, getting the radio jacked out of it, because it's right back there where nobody even looks even if your annoying alarm is going off anyways (people just think that the owner accidently hit his panic button and is just fumbling to find his remote)
