After the bar tonight driving my drunk friend home took a turn at like 35-40 and the ass end swings out. It was pretty cool. I have never had this happen in a front wheel drive car. Stazi, you were right I noticed a lot less body rool.
Well just thought I'd share the wonderfullness of the Aussie bar.

just want to be sure I understand... you take corners and the back of the car slides out now - and thats a benefit? what would happen at the same speed in a non-Aussie Bar equiped car?

Maybe I am missing something here... aside from the fact that it is fun sliding around corners when you are intending to do it... (e brake fun!)

Benifit umm not really, its cool though. With the bar on you can take a turn faster and with less body roll and understeer. I really wouldn't feel comfortable pulling the E-brake on dry pavement.

The Bar is sweet. In a non aussie bar car the front starts to plow... Yesterday I took out my car on the back roads..I really havnt pushed it since the H&R's/BAT and my 18's with new tires...HOLY COW! I took one corner pretty damn fast and as soon as I got into the begining of the turn I cranked the wheel and the rear was all the way out sideways..It wasnt even behind me anymore!!! Scared the hell out of me! But after a few more times on Commerce Rd. I kind of figured it out. It can help you but dont do it too much or you can lose time on a track. But its pretty easy to bring the car back running streight again.

Super fun!! I had all the people in Milford looking at my car going around a corner in town!!

Aaron, I live towards M-59 off Milford Rd in a new subdivision. You work at that old church right by the cleaners?
What car do you normally drive?
