I don't know if you guys remember me, but I brought my black SVT to a Contour gathering at Oakland mall, and my husband happened to bring his black Cobra. Remember us? Anyway, we also have a 94 Probe GT as a winter car. My husband is talking big stuff about the Probe and how he can beat me at the track. If you recall, I was the slow poke at Milan last Spring running high 16's. (STOP LAUGHING, I'm sensitive) smile I'm the queen of wheel hop! The Probe has headers, hi flow cat, catback exhaust, pheno spacers and a K&N. My car has a evergreen air freshener, a lost french fry under the passenger seat and a K&N. Do you think I can beat him if I learn how to launch my stock SVT, or do I need to start adding stuff?

A probe with those mods will be comparable if not, a bit quicker than a stock CSVT. Although, the difference between an ATX and MTX will make a world of difference. The 4EAT sucks a nut. What type of transmission does he have? Those mods should net around 150-160 HP at the wheels, with matching torque. How do i know? I had the exact same mods on my '94 GT, and it was dynoed.

From my expereience, the probe is MUCH easier to launch.

As long as you keep that french fry where it is you might be able to beat him. The key is going to be a good launch though. If you start hoppin' I would say, no way. It's gonna be real close even with a good launch...

The Probe's a stick. It's got a short throw shifter by the way.

Hey, I will race him. His car is very slow. Plus he chickened out to race me. :p Anytime he wants to run, just tell him to call me. I love eating probes for lunch.

OK MarkMark, don't get it twisted...

The car isn't slow, you'll find out soon enough cool

I didn't chicken out of racing you. Unlike you and your whipping boy, I don't go up and down Telegraph auditioning for FNFII. Track opens in April laugh

YOU KNOW NOTHING FOOL! mad

Man I love slapping you around... Anyway, you call what you did "help"? Anyone can listen to a vacum leak  If you want to bring out your TTRR-sponsored POS (TTRR = Team Theft-Recovery Racing for those who don't know), that's fine. Since you and Tzu have the Cobra and Contour covered, you need to find someone with a Lightning willing to yank the bed and doors, and a Focus guy willing to run on two wheels with no hood or hatch to round out your little group.

Man do you have excuse for everything. I was planning on racing you that day, but if I remember correctly, somebody else didn`t show up. This contour will take your probe anywhere anytime. :p wink

What was the lightning and focus talk all about? Just because Tzu and I have SVT`s, doesn`t mean anything. laugh Plus you have the cobra and your wife has the contour?
