Guy's this is a big deal for the SVT owners. Some of you may have seen the thread about the SVT spark plugs. It seems that in the their infinate wisdom Ford has superseeded the spark plug (AWFS22FS)for our cars with a hotter plug (AWFS32F). DO NOT USE THE HOTTER PLUG IN AN SVT.

Here's why I say that. I replaced my plugs at 60k and about 3k later I started to get a miss when accelerating under 3000 RPM and shortly after that I got a MIL light for catalyst efficiency. After changing plugs (2 times), wires, and the coil, without the miss going away for more than a day, I took the car to the dealership. $130 later they deceided that I needed a new MAF and downstream O2 sensors. Luckily I didn't let them do the work. Last week I saw a thread about SVT spark Plugs and found a set of the correct plugs AWFS22FS and installed them. No more miss. Hopefully the detonation that was occuring didn't do any serious internal damage to the engine. I cannot describe how agrivating this has been so avoid the agrivation and use a plug with the correct heat range.
