Ok heres the deal, Im 17, 18 in May, and the last ticket I got about 7 months ago was my last ticket until the next one where they were going to take my license away. Today going N. on M 10 i got pulled over, and i didnt even know I was speeding, that sucks. The cop got me at 84 in a 55. Now I know this is my ass and I was wondering if theres any way I could get a lawyer to handle this case, and if so whats the chances of me getting off?? If anyone knows of a good lawyer, please let me know. Any thing helpful is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Nomi

That sucks... but I think it will be really hard to prove that you were accidetnally going 29 mph over. Best bet is to just fight the ticket, maybe the cop won't show up.

the best advice I can give you is get a lawyer. for the love of god and your license get a lawyer. and a good one at that.
the reason why I say this is that it leaves nothing to chance when you're represented properly. you'll go in, you're lawyer will explain everything to the judge and the chances are you will not get points for the ticket. You will have to pay so have your checkbook ready.
If you'd like any more help on this topic, private message me and I'll help. I've gone to hell and back with my license situation and I know the system inside and out.

At least plead that you need it for work. Then they could give you a restricted lic. at least. Better then nothing. Yea I always go 29 over and not know it. Good one.

allright...listin up, i may not be the king of the track..or the 1/4 mile, but i am pretty much the king of speeding...and geting off for that matter. the same thing happened to me, but it was doing 70 in a 30...dont sweat it...and DONT get a lawer, whe it happened to me i just went in..said yea i was speeding but it was becuse .."b.s" it.. "my car was shaking because i might have a bad tie-rod, i just wanted to get off the road ASAP" or "my engine was running WAY to hot and i didnt want to blow it up" just say somthing that gives a reason that is NOT roadrage..they might let u wright a short essay..thats what i did...who cares if u have to wright, it'll clear your record.

If you take Paul's advice, I would think of another BS excuse. The 2 he gave would be reasons for going slower since your car would be about to fall apart if those were true. If anything I say use the work on Todras recomended
