I decided to pull the strips now b/c I need to take the car in to get the passenger rear door repainted. All the other doors look sweet! Also one of the 510 bulbs burned out (for the 2nd time!!  ) so I replaced it with a $4 Sylvania H3 bulb. It doesn't match the other side, but it's a hell of alot cheaper for something that burns out too easily. I need to re-aim it though b/c it's in the trees right now. It's almost as bright as the PIAA bulb and now I'm back to lighting the road up like a mofo.
