I think I offended some of my fellow CEG compadres this weekend when I showed up at Doug's with the dirtiest Contour ever. It was so bad that Roger even offered to pay for a car wash. Well, when I got home, I decided to wash and polish my car. I polished the rims and the exhasut tips and cleaned up the interior. I feel like I'm driving a new car. In fact, I got stopped on the road by two drivers and two pedestrians who told me I had a nice car. I can't remember the last time that happened. So, rest assured, the next time we meet up, you'll see the cleanest 85k Contour around. cool

First things first. Man you guys are pushy. At least you can approach the car without shaking your head. For now, I'll just say my hood latch has seized shut

NO problem on the car wash, but now I need to see it all cleaned up. Maybe you can make it out to the Redline meet on Friday, buddle up :p

NYKnicksSVT, I'll take some of the heat off ya. I'll drive by the redline meet on Friday with all the brake dust still on my wheels from the SVTOA event this weekend. They are so dirty now it looks like I have the mustang bullitt wheels as long as you are more than 50' away. And ever since Northwood Car Wash at 13 and Woodward was bought by Jax I haven't gotten a regular car wash. Now that everyone knows this you can attack me for 1) using a car wash 2) having a dirty car. laugh

I'm proud of ANY of the usual dirty Tours in here that get cleaned up. Doesn't it run better than it did before you washed and waxed it though :p :p :p

By the way, Roger, I removed the ding guards on Sunday, looks awesome!

The interior is pristine. I even cleaned outside the seals in the doors. I won't be able to make it to the meet. I'll be in Europe this Thursday. Hopefully, we'll have one last hurrah before winter. Thanks for all your support, oh dirty ones... wink
Ciao
