Man, what a great time!!! There were about 45 vehicles there ranging from 93 Cobras to 2 2000 Cobra R's, Lightnings, and about 6 Contours.

The Contours did GREAT on the 2.5 mile road course. I would say that 80% of the course was in 3rd gear. Mark Wilson (93SVTCobra) and I had some fun in our CSVTs with open track ahead of us. We each got up to about 115 on the 1/2 mile front straight and then took turn 1 at about 95-100. In our session (about 15 cars), the only cars that were faster than us (I'm giving Mark the benefit of the doubt here since I never saw him) were a 2000 Cobra R and a 95 Cobra R (and the drivers had been on tracks before). Not bad company. They were really surprised when they had a silver CSVT in their mirror in the tight areas of the track.

Mark will have to talk about the drag part of the weekend, as I didn't participate in that.

Ya'll missed out on some great racing!

No offense to anyone but drag racing is appropriately named when using a Contour.
