Ok.

I just caught a Seinfeld episode: the one where Jerry and Kramer smash George's car after seeing a "well endowed" women walking down the sidewalk wearing only a bra...

...and the car? A tan Mystique GS!!!

George Castanza drives a Mystique!!!!!

1995 Mercury Mystique GS Sport
2.5 Duratec
K&N Drop In
High-Flo exhaust
Tint

Bad things:
- clear coat flaking off!
- timing chain going
- idler pulley defunct
- rack and pinion going bleh
- Ford dealerships

I'm thinking that it was "The Seige" - the movie with Bruce Willis as a military commander chasing down terrorists in NY. If that's not what you're talking about, I believe they still used one in that movie anyway, but its been too long since I've seen it.

In Vanilla Sky, when tom cruise is driving down the road talking to his friend, there is a contour following them. (near the beginning of the movie)

The Fords used in MI:2 are Australian Falcons, 1998's.

In Robo Cop, they use Tauruses.

Seinfeld and Mad About You featured the same red Mystique once.

The Escalade made the turn fine, why were the Contours rigged? Makes us look bad! mad
maybe the frames that can be seen are used to unweight the cars to make them handle crapy on purpose, like the frames that are put on cars at Skip Barbers Racing School to make the car handle as if its on slippery conditions even though its on dry pavement.
