My throttle is hanging around 1500rpm all the time. I have searched and found it could be the Idle air control. I doesn't have the same charcteristics as the Th hang that is fixed with the coppercap. Where is the IAC located?

The IAC valve is on the intake manifold nr the firewall, follow the tube with a 3/4" bore from the air intake to the manifold,that tube leads to the valve............

It should be right next to where you installed the copper cap for the TH fix.
