I was wondering, is there a local place that sells the mintex brake pads?

FYI - I spoke with Pzul Gentilozzi's crew yesterday and they like the Mintex pads a little better than the Performance Friction pads. Better grab and feel they say, although they are within 5-10% of each other in performance (which means you probably wouldn't notice unless you are a professional driver). They get theirs with the rotors already bedded so that saves them quite a bit of time.
