I went to Milan tonight to see what my car would run. I ran into Trapps and met Bret and Rara. What's up guys. I'm running a 98 SVT Contour with the KKM intake, Bosch +4s, and Kumho Ecsta Supra 712s -225/50/16. My times are listed below.

Reaction .749
60 ft. 2.420
330 ft. 6.770
1/8 et 10.333
1/8 mph 68.91
1000' et 13.381
1/4 et 15.962
1/4 mph 86.72

I was happy to break into the 15's but I'm definately looking for more. I think the Sho Shop Y pipe is next.

I was there as well but i had a terrible time trying to launch without hurting the diff. Here is my best time :

Reaction .627
60 ft. 2.231
330 ft. 6.107
1/8 et 9.257
1/8 mph 78.11
1000' et 11.940
1/4 et 14.245
1/4 mph 97.00

The car was running very very hot. This run was after icing down the intake/throttle body/maf/intake tubes/supercahrger for 20mins. Hopefully if I can get it to launch right and the enine is cooled down, I can break into the 13s. We'll see though

Special thanks to Rara for holding my ice bags. Bret for walking like 1/4 mile to give me the bags when I didnt even need them, and Caesar with the Terry Haines Tranny in the Cougar for monitoring my Air Temp with his laptop. Thanks for your help guys.

My best time

Reaction .728
60ft 2.388
330ft 6.612
1/8 10.093
1/8 mph 69.34
1000' ET 13.075
1/4 ET 15.641
1/4 MPH 86.73

I was pretty disapointed with the times considering last time I went I was running 15 flat consistantly. I don't know if it was the heat or maybe because I was running with a little over half a tank of gas.

I ran a 15.66 last night w/ a horrible 60ft
I think everybody was off last night because of the weather, mph's were down a good 4-5 mph from normal for everybody.

It's all about balance.

I'm stock under the hood right now, but I'm still curious what it would do in the 1/4 mile confused ...and chickened out using the G-Tac during the last meet frown (just can't afford any tickets/points)!
Questions about Milan:
-What does it cost?
-How does it work? (register, wait in in line, etc.)
-Do they give you a printout with the stats?
-Which nights can you go?

Thanks for any info from the "experienced" smile

To run at Milan costs $20.00

When you enter, you tell them you want to run and they'll give you a registration slip, name - address - car info, etc. You then pull up to the tech are where you'll get a number written on your car.
After that it's up to you, you can park and go watch for a while or you can jump in line and go for a run.
There were quite a few cars there on Friday but I felt the lines moved quickly.
After your run, on your way back to the pits, you stop by a small booth near the end of the track and pick up your time slip. The info I listed in my post is basically everything that's on the slip.
Wednesday's and Friday's are test and tune which is open to everyone.

If you would like some more info check out their website
www.milandragway.com

It's a lot of fun and I'm definately going back.

Dan
