I own a 97 Ford Contour GL. It has the Zetec 4-banger in it. I want to know if it's possible to get the SVT Contour engine and Console (thing with the speedometer and tachometer) swapped with my Zetec 4-banger. If so about how much would it cost? confused

I would imagine its not that easy. Cooling system would need to be upgraded to the V6 aswell as the A/C system, radiator, fans, transmission would be a big issue. But then again, if you have the money, anything can be done!

But then why don't you sell your 4 banger and buy an SVT? Probably be cheaper.

Plus the need to change the computer and the wiring harness. Honestly it would be cheaper and more efective to put in a turbo. :p
