I'm running a custom cat-back w/ vibrant mufflers and resonator, very happy w/ it.
fwiw, I've got an SVT setup for sale $75

Rara, you said that you've got an SVT setup for sale $75, what kind of condition is it in and how many miles on it? How much of the system is it? I would want to put it on a 96 GL with the V6 and still have the factory exhaust, could this work?

it is the full cat-back system, minus the front flange (mates at the y-pipe, had to pirate it for my setup) and it is cut in front of the rear y, for easy transport.
To put it in, you will have to heve your stock flange welded on the front, the pipe welded back together, and a new hanger put on your car (non-SVT's don't have a hanger on one side) not a big deal, any muffler shop should do it for you for pretty cheap.
It's all about balance.

I've got Borla X-R1 mufflers with 4.5" tips (too big) and a removed resonator. I love the way it sounds.
