alright heres the thing, on my old Tour I had limo tint all around, and used to get harrased by cops all the time, now I wanna get like 20 or 30% all around my SVT, I know its still illegal, but, to anyone who has it, do they really come after you for that even though you can basically see right through them?

It really all depends on the cop...Theres some that will turn around just to come aafter you and others that could care less. Just to be safe I'd get a 30% all around it lighter during the day but dark at night. They 20% is going to be noticably darker during the day. Or you could just go limo on the back and 20 or 30 on the front..

I have 20% tint that I got in the end of March and I've been pulled over twice within the past 2 weeks for it. Once by a state cop and the other by Birmingham. I have to take the tint off the front 2 windows but I'm going to have it re-tinted after thats done with limo tint on all windows except the front.

If they're gonna pull me over I might as well get my moneys worth. phucka copper

Most city cops dont say anything about it. The state police on the other hand nail you almost every time they see you do what i did make a fake eye doctors slip i has helped me more than a few times

The only problem with doing the limo tint in the back/ and or the back sides is that it creates this darking effect since its darker all around except on the sides, and not to mention it doesnt match at all

i got 1% on the back three windows and 20% on the front three. never had a problem.

is that legal? i have one too, but haven't used it yet cause i don't want to get nailed for fraud or something...

no its not legal but it works i dont know what they would do if they catch you

I have a 2.5 year old F-150 ext cab with 20% all around and never been pulled over for it. SVT was tinted a couple months ago, but 35% all around (backing up at night is a PITA with 20%). Both myself and my wife have been pulled over in the SVT, but neither time was there mention of the tint.

If you go with darker in the back, it sometime creates the illusion of no tint on the front and could be less likely ot get pulled over.

On my Coug I have 15% all the way around and have not had a problem yet.. been about 2 months since I have gotten it and plenty of cops have stared at me for at.. Being bright yellow with dark windows draws some looks.. so if I haven't got a ticket.. it doesnt seem like most will have a prob.. unless u get a really a$$hole cop.
