HELP ME!!!!

I've had to have body work done on my car Contour 2 times now. Once for hail damage and once because my door got dinged pretty bad while parked.

Both times, the dents were handled well but the repaint was marginal. What always seems to happen that while they take of the the portion I came in for they always leave NEW SCRATCHES!!

Sure, the hood that you replaced and repainted looks great but what happened with the left front quater panel??? Where did that scratch come from?

OR

Sure, the front drivers side door looks great! But what about the passenger door? The door that never should have been touched!! Where did that scratch come from?!?! And the sideskirts?!?! What did you do to scratch my side skirts?!?!

SOMEONE POINT ME TO A GOOD BODY SHOP FOR A NEW INSURANCE CLAIM! HELP ME!!!!

FYI...wouldn't go back to Varsity Ford and Jim Bradley Pontiac for body work...

Scratches could be from the tech dragging the air hose on the car. The hail damage I take it is from the storms last summer we saw a few cars from the Ann Arbor area because the shops were so backed up.

Yeah, the hail damage was from last summer! frown

So...anyone know of any good body shops? A place that won't end up ruining part of my car while they fix whatever I came in to have fixed?

I kinda have my whole car repainted...estimates I've gotten so far are right around $3K...so if anyone else has had their Contour repainted with good results for a similar price, let me know!!!

Thanks!!!!

I know of a shop that does work for me. It's in southfield. A bit far from you.

If you are thinking about painting any bodies, I suggest a 18-23 year old girl with a nice body. wink

sorry, that wasn't the least bit helpful...

Finch's Collision in Saline, MI did a nice job on my wife's Taurus and sorted out the insurance screwups as well.
